We are awaiting planning permission for change of usage for the newly purchased Collegiate House.
The planning permission process involves a number of stages:
1. Submission of planning application with appropriate and correct documentation.
2. Validation of application: this attests that the documents are correct
3. Consultation period. To raise any issues or concerns
4. Deliberation of decision

The application submitted by Al-Islamia for change of usage has entered stage 4.
Once permission is granted we will tender for the small amount of works required and also apply to the DfE for material change.
The application was a long and costly process which required the commissioning of an experienced consultant.and a number of reports, documents and detailed drawings of the site and existing and proposed floor plans.
