Children raised over £80.00 via their sponsored Readathon at the beginning of March (See Spring 1 newsletter). This money was sent to the school as a Scholastics voucher. We had also earned some money via the Book Clubs that are run in Autumn. With this money, and additional funds provided by the trust, we purchased collections of fiction and non-fiction books that children are already enjoying (the Murder Most Unladylike series is very popular in Year 5 at the moment!).
We would like to thank all contributors for their kind donations, and hope to continue providing high-quality literature for our children to enjoy.
