During the final week of the Spring half term, the children have been taking part in Al Aqsa Week. This has given children the opportunity to understand the significance and blessing of this sacred sanctuary. We have been visited by Molana Imran from Friends of Al-Aqsa, who started off our week with assemblies for the different classes. The children have learnt different Ahadeeth and participated with different activities, This includes making money boxes, colouring pictures of Al-Aqsa, taken part in a national competition, painting a wall mural and decorating cupcakes.
